Mwape Musonda admits that he is still finding his feet at Orlando Pirates and will need time to adjust to his surroundings.
The Zambia national made his debut for the Buccaneers in a 1-1 draw at Free State Stars last week, replacing Kermit Erasmus.
Musonda again came on as a late substitute for the former SuperSport United man in a 2-0 win over Chippa United on Tuesday evening and insists the minutes on the pitch are doing him good.
"Obviously I am very happy to get a run. This is what I have been looking forward to," Musonda said in the aftermath.
"Even if it's just 10 minutes, it is fine with me. I am still adjusting to the style of play in the PSL.
"Of course I am a little bit nervous, but with time and importantly game time I will be able to fix it."
Musonda penned a three-year-deal at the club last month after impressing the Pirates coaching staff.
Pirates next face Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) in a CAF Confederation Cup first round fixture on Saturday.
