Ex-Ghana international Yaw Acheampong has signed on as head coach of Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics till the end of the season.
The former Tema Youth and Inter Allies coach has been tasked to improve the fortunes of the club- who lie second bottom on the league table.
The club confirmed on Wednesday: “As the Wonder Club opens this new chapter, we are confident that Yaw is the right person to spearhead the technical direction of the Club.
“He has a proven ability to create strategic clarity, drive innovation and growth, ensure disciplined and prompt execution, and deliver results. We believe that his passion for excellence will help ensure that Accra Great Olympics continues to climb higher and remain a dominant force in football both in Ghana and Africa.”
Acheampong will be assisted by Kassim Mingle who started the season with the club as head coach.
