AC Léopards are set to host Kenya champs Gor Mahia in Dolisie on Sunday, in the return leg of their CAF Champions League round of 32 clash.

The Congolese will be looking to finish the job in front of their home crowd, after recording a crucial 1-0 away win in the first leg thanks to a lone goal from international midfielder Césaire Gandzé.

It leaves Gor Mahia with a mountain to climb, especially as the Kenyans are on the verge of throwing in the towel for financial reasons.

Currently going through severe economic difficulties, the club has so far failed to raise sufficient funds for their trip to Congo while dealing with a boycott from their players over unpaid wages.

“We shall be travelling with a contingent of 30 people that includes players and officials but unless we get that amount (Sh5.2million), we might fail to honour the trip and accept to face CAF’s wrath,” Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier admitted on Tuesday.

The game is scheduled to kick off at the Denis Sassou-Nguesso Stadium at 16h30 CAT.

The aggregate winners will face Enyimba of Nigeria or Egyptian side Smouha SC in the next round.
