Asante Kotoko hold the aces to advance in the Champions League but must be vary of MC El Eulma’s threat.
The Porcupine Warriors host the Algerian side at the Baba Yara Stadium after drawing 0-0 three weeks ago on the road.
But there is a strange sense of déjà vu for Kotoko and a similar result against JSM Bejaia but ended up drawing 1-1 at home and exited the competition two years ago.
A lot has changed and especially during the David Duncan era, Kotoko have won all matches including two in the league and one in the MTN FA Cup.
The former Hearts of Oak coach is weaving his magic at the club and has been able to freshen his squad.
Striker Ahmed Toure has been revived and has scored in each of their last three league matches.
The Ivorian is counting on the team’s work ethic to progress to the next stage.
“Teamwork. We are going to count on the efforts of all the players who will make the game and not just on one person,” Toure said.
Kotoko have improved in the league and want their revival to continue against MC El Eulma.
