Kelantan FA new signing Austin Amutu proved to be a worthy addition to the team as he scored on his debut Saturday in a league game which they lost 3-1 at Darul Takzim.
The Warri Wolves striker gave his new Malaysian club the lead, but the hosts scored three goals late on.
Kelantan FA are 10th on the Malaysia Premier League table with seven points from eight games.
The Warri Wolves player, who is on loan at the Malaysia side, told AfricanFootball.com that he is happy to score in his very first game for his new team, but at the same time disappointed his goal was not enough to earn them victory.
"I am happy to have started my career here with a goal, I am not happy that we lost. This is a sign of great things to happen to me here as I look forward to scoring many goals to give my team victories," Amutu told AfricanFootball.com
