Ndlovu resigns as coach of Township Rollers

Township Rollers have confirmed that head coach Madinda Ndlovu has resigned and will leave the club with immediate effect.

Ndlovu handed in his resignation on Monday and after discussions it was decided that the Zimbabwean coach vacate his position immediately.

Furthermore, Rollers announced that Mogomotsi Teenage Mpote has been assigned with the responsibility of coaching the team till the end of the current beMOBILE Premier League campaign.

The Rollers Management also made public that that Zachariah Muzazi has been released as his contract was set to expire on 31 May 2015.

Ndlovu, who led Rollers to the beMOBILE Premier League last season saw his side end as runners-up in the Mascom Top 8 final on Saturday, going down 2-1 to Gaborone United at the National Stadium.

Rollers crashed out of the CAF Champions League under his guidance, losing 3-1 on aggregate to Kaizer Chiefs while seeing their league title slip from their grasp.

The club trail leaders Mochudi Centre Chiefs by eight points with four games remaining.
