Uganda Premier League (UPL) defending champions, KCCA FC will be eager to pick maximum points when they hosts Express FC on Tuesday at the Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

“We do not want to take chances, but want to keep working hard and keep the pressure on the table leaders SC Vipers,” Head coach Abudallah Mubiru told AfricanFootball.com.

Victory for KCCA FC who lost 2-0 in their previous game against the table leaders will bring them within three points of SC Vipers who have 56 points. Herman Wasswa, William Wadiri and former Asante Kotoko defender Joseph Ochaya are expected to play key roles for KCCA FC.

But Express FC Coach Wasswa Bbosa has also warned that they will come all out to search for a win. “We have not be in good form lately. But we picked maximum points from that same Stadium last season and can do the same again,” he added. Express FC are placed eighth on the log with 31 points.

URA FC who represented Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup this year before losing to South Africa’s Orlando Pirates will face Kira Young FC in a game they must win if they hope to finish in the top three positions.

The other games on card will see struggling and relegation threatened Rwenshama FC host Bidco FC, while Sadolin Paints take on Soana FC.
