Platinum Stars captain Vuyo Mere has called on the clubs supporters to turn out in their numbers when they host Mamelodi Sundowns at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday.
Dikwena, who are not yet clear of the relegation zone, will be eager to get some revenge over the Brazilians who themselves have not been in great form of late.
The Brazilians ended their cup curse against the Phokeng based outfit with a 3-1 win in the Nedbank Cup last month.
Mere revealed that it is always personal facing the Tshwane giants who have fallen victim to Stars more often than not in recent times.
“It is always personal when we play Sundowns and we look forward to a great game," Mere told the clubs official website.
"This is the last home game of this caliber so supporters must come in numbers to support and chant to us. The type of football we now play is different and really motivates everyone of the good future this club has.
"Sundowns does not see this coming, it is now payback time!”
'Downs fell 18 points behind Kaizer Chiefs following their loss to the Amakhosi in midweek while Stars currently occupy 13th spot on the log and still in danger of dropping out of South Africa's top flight.
