Zambia midfielder Felix Katongo has explained why he has returned home from Egyptian club Al Ittihad.
The midfielder is currently back in Zambia less than a year into a three year deal with the Alexandria club after leaving Green Buffaloes last July.
"I am training with Buffaloes but my contract is still running in Egypt I just have problems with the club," Katongo said.
"They haven’t paid me for four months so that is why I came back. To go back they must pay me. So that I can go back. I can’t continue working without payment."
The 2012 Africa Cup winner is currently in camp with the Zambia national team preparing for Sundays home friendly against Malawi at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
