Warri Wolves striker Gbolahan Salami will miss a CAF Confederation Cup playoff clash against AC Leopards of Congo this weekend on account of suspension.
Warri Wolves, the only surviving Nigerian club on the continent, will face AC Leopard in the play off to advance to the money-spinning group stage of the competition.
However, former 3SC forward Salami told AfricanFootball.com he will miss the trip to Congo due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
"I won't be going to Congo for our next game in the CAF Confederation Cup against Leopards because I have two yellow cards,” he disclosed.
"But I trust my team mates who will play the game, they will deliver and get a good result there. We will keep doing our best on the pitch and pray to God to crown our efforts."
Salami has thus far scored three goals in the 2015 Confederation Cup.
Wolves have not lost any game on the road in the competition this year.
