Coach Abudallah Mubiru has said his team is determined to win the 2015 Uganda Cup that will guarantee them a place in the 2016 CAF Confederations Cup.

KCCA FC who failed to retain the Azam Uganda Premier League title will face archrivals SC Villa in the Uganda Cup final on June 6th at the Kyamate Sports ground, Ntungamo Municipality.

“We are taking the Uganda Cup final very seriously because we want to play International football next year,” Mubiru told AfricanFootball.com on Monday.

The Coach explained that after his team finished third in the League, they are now hungry to win the Uganda Cup.

SC Vipers won the League title will represent Uganda in the lucrative CAF Champions League. But after missing the League title, SC Villa have also vowed to come all out to win the game.

Hassan Mawanda Wasswa, one of SC Villa’s senior player said they will not take the game for granted because they are hungry to win silverware. “We shall treat this game very seriously because we need to be competing in the Confederations Cup next year,” added the former Turkish based professional.
