Prime FC defender Tope Akande has teamed up with older brother Abiodun Akande at 3SC.

Akande, who has been with Prime FC on loan from Karamone FC since 2012, sealed a deal with ‘The Oluyole Warriors’ till the end of the season.

The defender, who was born on December 3, 1997, told AfricanFootball.com he is happy to join his home state team and will do his best to help the team get out of the relegation trouble.

"I am happy to join 3SC, my home state team,” he said.

“I am ready to put in my best to help the team get away from relegation and make the state proud.

“It is a loan deal till the end of the season, I am not here at Shooting because my brother is here, but it is a plus for me to have him around. Together we will work hard to take Shooting Stars back to where they belong, the top."

Tope Akande is the second recent signing for 3SC after goalkeeper Eze Fidelis.
