Etoile Sportive du Sahel will welcome Raja Casablanca in Sousse on Sunday, in the return leg of their Confederation Cup playoff clash.

The ‘Green Devils’ are heading to Tunisia with a two-goal advantage, after securing a 2-0 win in Casablanca in the first leg thanks to first-half successful efforts from Abdelkebir El Ouadi and Christian Osaguona.

And the Moroccans are determined to hold onto their lead and seal their spot in the group stage of Africa’s second-tier club competition, following a very disappointing season on the domestic stage.

“A tough game is awaiting us in Sousse, where Etoile have nothing to lose,” Raja boss Fethi Jamal told Le Matin.

“Faouzi Benzarti’s men will go all-out attack to overturn their two-goal deficit. But this could be a double-edged sword as they will leave space at the back. And we will have opportunities to score an away goal.

“The pressure will be on the Tunisians. We are confident. I have faith in my team. We are ready to meet the challenge.”

The game will kick off at Stade Olympique de Sousse at 20h15 CAT on Sunday.
