Saanumi wants $100,000 from Al Masry - Rep

Nigerian striker Abiodun Saanumi wants to be paid $100,000 a year by Egyptian club
Al Masry after he was offered a contract following successful trials, his representative Tope Alabi has told

Saanumi, who plays for Dedebit FC, was the Ethiopia Premier League top scorer last season with 22 goals.

"Abiodun had a successful trial at Al Masry, he was offered a three-year contract of $70,000 a year but he wants $100,000, negotiations are still on between the club and the Egyptian agent, Abdulraham Magdy Tawfig,” Tope told

He also revealed to that the striker has been offered a trial at Maritzburg.

"He has been invited for trials by South African club Maritzburg,” he disclosed.

Saanumi has also played for ECCPCO and St.George FC in Ethiopia.
