Nigeria midfielder Kingsley Sokari is expected to return to Tunisia later this week after Esperance reached “an understanding” with Enyimba.

Sokari’s move to Esperance was headed for the rocks after the Tunisian club stalled on payments and the player returned to Nigeria.

However, Sokari’s adviser Vincent Alumona has now told AfricanFootball.com Esperance and Enyimba have reached an understanding on the player and he will now return to Tunisia.

“Sokari will return to Tunisia this week after Enyimba and Esperance reached an understanding. So, you could well say the deal is back on,” Alumona disclosed.

Esperance have already signed Nigeria stars Emem Eduok and Bernard Bulbwa.

It was also understood that Atletico Madrid interest in the player, who has been capped by Nigeria at U20, U23 and full international levels, is still on.
