Since gaining promotion to the Premier Soccer League, Jomo Cosmos have not registered a win yet as their previous three matches have produced goalless draws.

According to a local website, Ezenkosi have extended the contract of the Zimbabwean stirker, Charlton Mashumba with a further two years and is set to bring relief upfront to the side.

The Ezenkosi boss was quoted saying his side will start banging in goals as they’re expecting their lethal striker Mashumba to receive his work permit.

On the other hand, the club’s captain in the National First Division, Thabang Monare has also signed a two-year deal as he was part of the proceedings against SuperSport United on Wednesday night.

"Mashumba and Monare have signed two-year contracts," Sono said.

The lanky Zimbabwean netted 19 times for the club in the last campaign raising speculation that he was bound to leave the club having been linked to a move overseas and to Kaizer Chiefs.

Meanwhile, the man also known as the Black Prince has announced that Mashumba is waiting for his work permit and could be in action in their next league match against Platinum Stars in September 13.

Ezenkosi are placed at position 13 on the log standings with three points from three games respectively.
