The Black Queens reached the final of the 2015 All Africa Games women’s football tournament on Tuesday after beating Cote d’Ivoire 1-0.

The Black Queens were able to hold onto a 15th minute strike by Samira Suleman to earn a place in the finals of the competition currently ongoing in Brazzaville, Congo.

Ghana advanced to the last four of the tournament by luck after winning the drawing of lots against South Africa- who they were tied on points and goal difference – to determine their fate in the competition.

The Queens played just two group games against Senegal and then Cameroon due to the withdrawal of Egypt in the competition.

They will face either Nigeria and Cameroon who play later on Tuesday evening in Brazzaville.
