Burundi clinch 1-0 victory over Seychelles

An early goal in the 15th minute by Fiston Abdul Razak was enough to hand Burundi a victory as they beat Seychelles 1-0 on Wednesday in the first leg of their 2018 FIFA World Cup first round qualifier.As much as much Seychelles tried to find an equaliser, it wasn’t to be as Burundi walked away with a win at the People’s Stadium.
They will be confident of wrapping up the tie when they host the return leg on October 13 in Bujumbura.
The winners of the tie will face DR Congo in the second round next month.
