Victorious Zebras back in Botswana

Botswana's senior national team are back in the country following their 2-0 victory over Eritrea in Asmara on Saturday afternoon.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification (CAF) first round first-leg clash was played at the iconic Cicero Stadium.

Township Rollers left-winger Galagwe Moyana and forward Joel Mogorosi hit the back of the net for the Zebras' on the day.

The Zebras' long journey from the East African country began on Sunday morning, and they travelled via Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Kenya.

Upon arriving in Botswana's capital city Gaborone on Monday morning, Peter Butler's side immediately departed for the second city, Francistown.

Botswana and Eritrea will lock horns again in the second-leg clash at the new Francistown Stadium on Tuesday night.

Kick-off is at 19h00.
