Zimbabwe Send Lesotho Packing

A 1-1 draw away from home against Lesotho was enough to see Zimbabwe through to the 2016 African Nations Championship on Sunday.

The draw combined with Zimbabwe’s 3-1 win away from home on October 18 saw them progress to the tournament proper 4-1 on aggregate after the second leg qualifier ended all-square.

Roderick Mutuma opened the scoring on the day for Zimbabwe in the 35^th before a second half penalty goal from Lesotho saw the game end 1-1.

Mutuma also scored a brace in the first leg for Zimbabwe combined with a goal from Danisa Phiri.
