Nigeria U23 coach Samson Siasia has said he was unimpressed even though his team trounced Gambia top league side Real Banjul 3-0 with all three goals by Etebo Oghenekaro.
Siasia said he was disappointed with the way the team played in the first half despite dominating the game, adding that they should not be missing chances to score goals after creating them.
"I'm not impressed with what my boys displayed, I expected them to let their dominance count in front of goal and if they can't convert these chances then we will be in trouble in Senegal. We will keep on working on them and hopefully they will get it right," said the coach, whose team are getting set for the U23 AFCON in Senegal at the end of this month.
Warri Wolves star Oghenkaro opened scoring for the Nigeria U23s in the 25
th minute from the penalty spot after skipper Sincere Seth was brought down inside the box.
Oghenekaro doubled the lead at the start of the second half, before he completed his treble minutes later after he was set up by Stanley Dimgba.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Dream Team VI will rest on Sunday to return on Monday to play their second test game against the Gambia U20 team.
The encounter billed to kick off by 4pm will be played at the Independence Stadium in Banjul.
