AshantiGold’s board has promised to fund the club’s 2016 CAF Champions League campaign with US$ 1.5m.
The amount encapsulates the team’s budget from the preliminary rounds to the money zone-which is a league format.
A break down of the amount involves return air tickets for players and officials, per diem for both players and technical staff, hotel expenses and renovation works at the Len Clay.
AshGold are making a return to the competition since 2008 when they reach the first qualifying round and got kicked out by JSK Kabylie.
