Super Eagles invitee Joshua Obaje is due back in Nigeria this week after a move to Slovakian club AS Trencin collapsed.
It was gathered that the agent of the Kaduna-born forward fell out with those who transferred the Wikki Tourists to Trencin causing the forward to head back home.
Obaje’s transfer was celebrated and the highly promising forward was reported to have been listed as an unused substitute in two matches.
However, the player never got to sight his contract.
Obaje pulled out of a training camp in Port Harcourt ahead of a CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso earlier this year.
This was to allow him move to Trencin, who already have two Nigeria internationals, Rabiu Ibrahim and Kingsley Madu, on their books.
