Motlakase Power Dynamos defender Thato Kebue is set to train with South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns next month.

The Botswana youth international is currently on a season-long loan spell with Dynamos from lower division side Pilikwe United.

United club director Fobby Radipotsane confirmed to local media that Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Sundowns had requested to assess Kebue from the 10th of January 2016.

"Mamelodi Sundowns requested him to come and train with their reserve team, on January 10th," Radipotsane said.

Kebue impressed during his trial stint with Sundowns academy two years ago. However, the gifted defender was sent back to complete his studies.

"We do not know what will happen next. For now we cannot say anything to be honest. He could have joined Sundowns way back, but he was too young," he continued.

Radipotsane went on to stated that beMOBILE Premiership clubs were also interested in the 18-year-old versatile defender.

"Yes, local clubs have also enquired, but we cannot talk about that now. He's still young and don't want to confuse him," he concluded.
