Esperance have joined two other Tunisian clubs in the hot chase for Nigeria U23 star Oghenekaro Etebo just as Warri Wolves are believed to have lowered their $2 million asking price for the midfielder.
Etebo has sparked off interests from overseas after he emerged as top scorer at the recent U23 AFCON in Senegal.
“Esperance are now keen to sign Etebo and this comes at a time when it is believed that Wolves are now demanding less than the $2 million they first asked for the player,” a top source informed.
“After the holidays, we will have a clearer picture of how the bidding war will play out.”
Egyptian double champions Zamalek have also been reported to be interested in signing Etebo.
