Bertrand Traore's goal for Chelsea Saturday has placed his country Burkina Faso as the 94th
country to get on the score sheet in the English Premier League.
Substitute Traore slid in to convert Cesar Azpilicueta’s cross on 83 minutes for the fifth goal against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge, making the 20-year-old the first player from Burkina Faso to score in the Premier League.
The goal has now taken Burkina Faso off a list of foreign nationalities who are represented in the EPL but yet to hit the target there - Albania, Bolivia, Cape Verde Islands, Cyprus, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Gambia, Guadeloupe, Guinea-Bissau, Lithuania, Malta, Oman, Pakistan, Seychelles and Zambia.
