Central African Republic head coach Hervé Loungoundji announced a 21-man squad ahead of their double header with Madagascar in Group B of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Gazelec Ajaccio defensive midfielder Amos Youga and Gabon-based defender St Cyr Ngam-Ngam have been left out due to injury, while French-born Bordeaux centre-back Cédric Yambéré, who is eligible to represent his country of origin, decided to postpone his international debut with the Beasts.
However, Loungoundji is welcoming back several players, including defenders Manassé Enza-Yamissi and Fernander Kassai, midfielders Vivien Mabidé and Gervais Kago, and strikers Hilaire Momi and Jésus Konnsimbal.
Lying second in their group on three points, after bouncing back from a 4-0 defeat to Angola with a 2-0 home win over DR Congo, Central African Republic will battle Madagascar away from home on
24 March before hosting their opponents
four days later.
