Nigeria striker Alhaji Gero has said he has set a personal target to score 10 goals for his new Swedish club Ostersunds FK in the new season, which has kicked off this weekend.
Former Enugu Rangers striker Gero has returned to Sweden after a rather forgettable time with Viborg in Denmark.
His new club Ostersunds will feature in the Swedish top flight league after they won promotion last year.
“I’m very well settled at the club and with what we were able to do in pre-season, I believe I can score up to 10 goals this season,” Gero told AfricanFootball.com
“I’m very comfortable with the brand of football we play and this can only help me to be more prolific in front of goal.”
He scored a total of nine goals in 36 appearances for another Swedish club Osters when he first came to Europe three years ago.
