The former FC Taraba skipper, who signed a two-year deal with Portuguese team ADS Sanjoanes, told AfricanFootball.com that the loan switch to Uniao de Madeira has been made permanent.
"I am now a player of Uniao de Madeira because the loan deal has been made permanent deal,” Usman told AfricanFootball.com
"I signed a two-year deal with Madeira two weeks ago which I am happy about. I didn't play for Sanjoanes because I wanted a top flight team, I am glad it happened."
He said he is eagerly waiting for his debut for the club.
"I am hoping to play my first game for my club now that the transfer has been done," he further told AfricanFootball.com
He has Nigeria international Shehu Abdullahi as his team mate and has been assigned jersey number 31.
