Medeama SC have confirmed that head coach Tom Strand has gone AWOL in South Africa and that the club have subsequently reported his disappearance to the South African Police Service (SAPS).

The Tarkwa based side lost 3-1 to the Brazilians in the first-leg, in Tshwane on Saturday.
