Seychelles name preliminary squad for Cosafa Cup

In preparation for the upcoming 2016 COSAFA Castle Cup in Namibia, the Seychelles have released their preliminary side for the tournament.

Coach Ralph Jean-Louis has invited 27 players for camp; which includes a number of stalwarts from previous editions.

The Islanders are drawn Group A together with Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Madagascar.

In their opening match, the Seychelles, meet the Malagasy (Madagascar) in Windhoek on the opening day of action of the June 11-25 tournament in Namibia.

Jean-Louis has retained seven players from the side that exited the 2015 edition in the first round, including goalkeeper Vincent Euphrasie, defender Yanick Manoo, midfielder Karl Hall and lively forward Gervais Waye-Hive.

Seychelles drew 0-0 against hosts and defending champions Namibia in South Africa last year, but lost 1-0 to Zimbabwe and Mauritius.

Goalkeepers: Vincent Euphrasie, Gino Melanie, Jerome Dingwall.

Defenders: Yanick Manoo, Andrew Onezia, Nelson Laurence, Joubert Jones, Benoit Marie, Fabio Lemiel, Allen Larue, Alex Nibourette, Jude Nancy.

Midfielders: Elvin Estico, Basil Bertin, Achille Henriette, Collin Esther, Karl Hall, Trevor Vidot, Colin Bibi, Karl Jerome, Lucas Panayi, Marlon Sophola, Dieter Constance.

Forwards: Dean Suzette, Leroy Coralie, Elijay Tamboo, Gervais Waye-Hive.
