AS Vita are set to launch an internal inquiry after they were disqualified from the 2016 CAF Champions League.
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) announced on on Tuesday, mere hours before the group stage draw, that the Democratic Republic of Congo giants were booted out of the tournament for fielding an ineligible player in the preliminary round of the competition
Former Stade Malien ace Idrissa Traore featured for the club against Mafunzo, consequently breaching the four match-ban imposed on him last year.
