Senegal bagged a 2-0 win over Rwanda in an international friendly on Saturday afternoon at Stade Amahoro in Kigali.
Goals from Diouf Mame Biram and Sankhare Younnouse sealed victory over Johnny McKinstry's men.
In the first 10 minutes there were no goals but the Lions of Teranga managed to open the scoreline in the 14th minute courtesy of Biram's goal.
Although the hosts tried to pull one back, the visitors made it 2-0 in the 30th minute when Younousse helped Aliou Cisse's side with their second strike to consolidate their lead.
The hosts fought harder to ensure they got a goal but failed to convert their chances and it was 2-0 at half time.
In the second stanza, McKinstry introduced changes and brought in Dany Usengimana for Ernest Sugira while Patrick Sibomana was replaced by Dominique Savio Nshuti.
However, his charges failed to get two goals to bounce back in the encounter as the 2016 CAF African Championships (Chan) hosts lost the friendly.
Meanwhile, next weekend Senegal are set to meet Burundi in their 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier in Bujumbura.
On the other hand, Amavubi were using the friendly as preparation for the crucial AFCON Qualifier against the Mambas of Mozambique on June 4.
