“Iheanacho will start alongside Brown Ideye in tonight’s game against Luxembourg. The two strikers were more forceful and daring than the combination of Ighalo and Oghenekaro Etebo,” a team official informed AfricanFootball.com

Ikeanacho, 19, earned his first start in an AFCON 2017 qualifier in Kaduna against Egypt.

After making his mark with the Nigeria U17s and U20s, the Manchester City starlet made his full international debut against Swaziland in a 2018 World Cup qualifier in November.

Last season, he scored 14 goals in all competitions for Manchester City in his debut season in the EPL.
