Aaron Samuel, who earns 2.5 million Euros a year, is now facing an uncertain future as he recuperates from the knee operation, which will keep him out till next year.
The Nigeria international striker suffered a knee injury while playing for CSKA Moscow in the Russia cup final against Zenit St. Petersburg and while he has undergone a successful surgery, it remains unclear what the future holds for him, according to his agent Atta Aneke.

"We actually don't know right now because we're just focusing on him getting well," Aneke told AfricanFootball.com
"As you know, it's going to take between six and eight months which is a long time, so we simply just wait for him to recover well.
"After that, we will make a decision if he'll stay or if he'll leave, but eight months from now is quite a long time.”
The 22-year-old Samuel was on loan from Chinese club Guangzhou R&F and was expected to have been offered a three-year deal by CSKA, but all that will now wait until he fully recovers.
