Fath Union Sport (FUS) de Rabat will be targeting a win over Al-Ahli Tripoli in the first 2016 CAF Confederation Cup Group B game at the Stade de FUS in Rabat on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 22h00 (CAT).

The Moroccan side reached the group stages after hammering Malian outfit Stade Malien 4-0 on aggregate in the play-off round.

They won their most recent competitive match. FUS beat Racing de Casablanca 2-1 in the Coupe du Trône round of 32 game last weekend at home.

The Rabat-based outfit's dangerman is Mourad Batna who has hit the back of the net three goals in this year's Confederation Cup.

FUS have tasted success in Africa in one occassion. They beat Tunisian side CS Sfaxien 3-2 on aggregate to lift the 2010 CAF Confederation Cup.

Meanwhile, Al-Ahli will be hoping to grab an important away victory over FUS when the two sides lock horns on Sunday night.

The Libyan side reached the group stages after defeating Egyptian outfit Misr Lel Makkasa on the away goals rule after a 1-1 draw in the play-off round.

Nicknamed Alzaeem, Al-Ahli have been inactive since the 1-1 stalemate with Makkasa at the Fayoum Stadium in Fayoum on the 28th of May 2016.

Sand Msoud is the man who grabbed Alzaeem's crucial away goal against Makkasa. He will be looking to do the same thing against FUS.

Al-Ahli are eyeing their maiden Confederation Cup title this year. They could only reach the first round of this competition in 2010.

Senegalese match referee Malang Diedhiou will be in charge of the Group B game between FUS and Al-Ahli on Sunday night.
