Chipolopolo of Zambia are out to ensure they keep their dominance over Namibia in the 2016 COSAFA Castle Cup Plate final on Friday.
The Zambians beat Lesotho 3-2 in the semifinals following a penalty-shootout defeat to the Isihlangu of Swaziland in the Cup quarterfinals.
The four-time COSAFA champions will be eager to bag the Plate trophy and ensure they wrap up their campaign on a high.
Shifting focus to the hosts, Namibia are fresh from a convincing 3-0 win over Mozambique and will hope to send Zambia packing in the same fashion.
The Brave Warriors are aware that they have failed to defend their regional crown, but will now get a second bite of the cherry to claim some silverware in the Southern African showpiece.
Namibia lost to Botswana on penalties last weekend in the Cup quarterfinals, but did manage to bounce back with a convincing win and will be highly motivated heading into the clash inf front of their home fans.
The match has all the ingredients of a thriller with both teams having scored three goals in their respective Plate semifinal wins.
Although Zambia have enjoyed the upper hand in previous Cosafa Cup clashes between the two sides, both teams have won three matches in seven previous meetings between the two teams.
The Plate final is set to be staged at Sam Nujoma Stadium. Kick-off is at 18h00.
