Wydad Casablanca will host Zesco United in the CAF Champions League Group A game at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 22h00.

Rouges et Blancs opened their Champions League group stage campaign with a 1-0 win over ASEC Mimosas away earlier this month.

Salaheddine Saidi scored the only goal of the match for Wydad. The defensive midfielder netted seven minutes before the half-time break.

The last time the Moroccan side tasted a defeat in this year's Champions League was against Madagascar's CNaPS Sport away last March.

Since then John Toshack's side have done well in the continental competition and a victory on Wednesday will see them top Group A.

Wydad are only behind Group A leaders Zesco because the latter have scored more goals after matchday one.

Meanwhile, Zesco will be looking for their second consecutive Champions League Group A victory when they face Wydad on Wednesday night in Rabat.

Zega Mambo surprised Egyptian giants Al Ahly when they defeated them 3-2 in the opening Group A encounter at home a fortnight ago.

Cletus Chama hit the back of the net twice for the home side, while John Ching’andu also netted for Zega Mambo on the day.

Since losing to Horoya from Guinea away last March, Group A leaders Zesco are yet to suffer any defeat in this year's Champions League.

Having already beaten Mali's Stade Malien Bamako away, Zega Mambo will be confident of registering another impressive away win on Wednesday.

Experienced referee Bamlak Tessema Weyesa from Ethiopia will officiate the Group A clash between Wydad and Zesco.
