As the Football Association of Malawi is nearing the finalisation of coach Ernest Mtawali's sacking, the coach has received criticism once again.
The Nyasa Times website has it in good authority that the coach has received a lashing from a number of FAM members.
It is reported that the former Flames midfielder is accused of indiscipline, ignorance and drinking beer as well as sharing cigarettes with players during crucial games among others.
On the other hand, it is suggested that a report issued by the country's football governing body is that Mtawali is also accused of working in isolation, lacking football leadership and managerial skills thus fuelling lack of team work.

In other accusations contained in the report, it is revealed that the coach has been borrowing money from players which recently caused friction between him and two other players.
Meanwhile, the report has also came to conclusion that Mtawali must vacate his position and be replaced by assistant Burundina Nswaziromo Ramadhan in acting capacity.
According to the Sports and Culture minister, Grace Chiumia, the government did not have plans to hire an expatriate coach to replace Mtawali because the government had no money.
However, she said they will wait for his contract to expire and then find a suitable replacement.
