It has now been revealed that German Bundesliga club Hamburg were the club whose six million Euros offer for Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi was rejected by Belgian club Genk in January.
Last month, AfricanFootball.com first reported that Genk turned down a six million Euros bid for the defender-turned-midfielder because they do not plan to sell him cheap.

Premier League club Watford are now after the highly-rated defensive midfielder after they signed another Genk star Christian Kabasele.
However, Genk coach Peter Maes wants to keep the rising Nigeria star for at least another season.
Ndidi has two more years left of his contract at the Belgian club who will feature in the UEFA Europa League in the coming season.
