Geofrey Massa has confirmed to AfricanFootball.com that he has joined Baroka FC from fellow Absa Premiership rivals Bloemfontein Celtic.

The 30-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal with the option of extending his stay in Limpopo by a further two years.

Massa, who was desperate to leave Siwelele following a disappointing second-half to last season, will officially link up with his new teammates later this week.

"It is a done deal, I just signed," Massa told this website.

"I am in Johannesburg at the moment and will probably join them at training tomorrow [Wednesday]."

The Uganda international could only manage two goals in 13 league appearances in his first season at Phunya Sele Sele. The former AmaTuks forward fell out favour under Serame Letsoaka and played only 87 minutes in the clubs final 16 games of the 2015-16 campaign.

Bakgaga were promoted to South Africa's elite division after wining the National First Division crown last season.
