READ: Etebo a major injury doubt
Etebo suffered a hamstring injury in a final Group B match against Colombia and could not complete the game.
He has had a scan and an official said it is touch and go for the Portugal-based star, who grabbed the headlines after he scored four goals in the team’s opening game against Japan in Manaus.
“Etebo is 50-50,” said the official.
“We just have to wait and see how it goes before match time to know if he will be fit to play.”
Saturday’s match will kick off at 8pm Nigerian time in Salvador.
