Thapelo Morena's arrival at Mamelodi Sundowns could well be an indication that the club are preparing for life after Keagan Dolly.
South Africa U23 captain, Dolly, has been linked with a move to Greek giants Olympiacos and could well complete a move to Europe before the end of August.
Morena, 22, officially joined the Brazilians on a five-year-deal earlier this week.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder is the club's fourth signing of the current transfer window with 'Downs having also acquired the services of Sibusiso Vilakazi, Lucky Mohomi and Ricardo Nascimento.
Sundowns next face Enyimba in the 2016 Caf Champions League on Tuesday. The Tshwane club have already booked their place in the semifinals as Group B winners.
Dolly will miss the clash with the club deciding to rest the star winger as he continues his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury.
