Nigeria defender William Troost-Ekong has carried his fine form from the Rio Olympics to score for Norwegian club Haugesund Saturday.
Haugesund came from two goals down to win 3-2 at home against Brann with Troost-Ekong netting the equaliser on the stroke of half time.
It was the 22-year-old central defender's first league goal in 17 league appearances this season.
Troost-Ekong was the pillar in defence as Nigeria clinched bronze medal at the Rio Olympics.
His solid showing in Brazil has been rewarded with a call-up by Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr for next month’s AFCON qualifier against Tanzania, which will serve as a warm-up for a World Cup qualifier in Zambia on October 3.
