The Mambas of Mozambique are out of the race to book a spot in the 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations but a win over Mauritius will restore their pride.

Mozambique host the side from the Island and will be chasing nothing but a win to bring back the smiles to their supporters' faces.

Coach Abel Xavier's men sit at the bottom of the group with four points from one win and one draw from their matches against Rwanda and Ghana.

Having lost to the Mauritian side 1-0 in the opening leg, Mozambique will now want to claim a victory to avoid losing twice.

However, Joe Tshupula's side are also targeting their third win to challenge the Amavubi of Rwanda for the second spot in the group.

Should Rwanda lose to Ghana in Accra, Mauritius will finish as number two in the group with nine points.

However, that doesn't mean they will qualify because they don't have enough points to finish as one of the best runners-up.

Club M Les Dodos will not find it easy to travel to Mozambique and bag a win, but that will test their character a s a team.

The final group encounter will be held at the Estádio Nacional do Zimpeto in Maputo on Saturday evening at 19:30.
