22h00 -Cote d'Ivoire have failed to get a win as they finished 1-1 against Sierra Leone. It's now full time. Mozambique are also out of the race to reach the tournament despite their 1-0 win against Mauritius.

21h33 - Sierra Leone have found an equaliser in their match against Cote d'Ivoire in Abidjan, 1-1. Senegal have doubled their lead, 2-0, against Namibia at home. In the other match,Mozambique are still chasing an opener against Club M Les Dodos of Morocco (0-0).

21h19 -
The score remains unchanged in the match between Senegal and Namibia, 1-0 with one minute remaining in the match. Ivory Coast still lead Sierra Leone 1-0 in the 61st minute. Six minutes remaining in the clash between Mozambique and Mauritius.

21h00 - Cape Verde have lost their match to Libya. Full time score is 1-0 but the North Africans have received a red card.

20h50 Both teams are heading to the tunnel in Abidjan where the hosts are leading 1-0. (Ivory Coast 1-0 Sierra Leone).

20h45 The Elephants have found the back of the net through Jonathan Kodjia. No goals in Maputo yet and Senegal are still in the driving seat with their 1-0 lead.

20h25 - It's half time between the Lions of Teranga in Dakar and Namibia, Senegal leading 1-0. The Mambas are still locked at 0-0.

20h15 - Cape Verde are back for the second stanza but no goals yet. Senegal have grabbed a lead, it's 1-0.through Ibrahima Balde.

20h05 - The Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire are also hosting Sierra Leone and the match has just got underway.

19h55 - It's half time in the Group F match between Cape Verde and Libya, 0-0. Mozambique and Mauritius are yet to open their account as well and it remains 0-0 in Maputo. The Lions of Teranga and the Brave Warriors are still tied at 0-0.

19h37 - It half time in Praia where Cape Verde hosts Libya. There are no goals yet. Mozambique and Mauritius are underway in Maputo. Namibia and Senegal are also in action and the game has started in Dakar.

19h30 - The Black Stars are already in Gabon for the AFCON tournament but have failed to win it at home against Amavubi in Accra. The full time score is 1-1.

19h15 - Ghana are now close to wrapping up the encounter but Rwanda have equalised, 1-1. No goals yet in Praia (Cape Verde against Libya), 0-0 after 14 minutes.

19h04 - Cape Verde are hosting Libya at home in Praia and the match is underway. 0-0 so far.

19h04 - It's over between Angola and Madagascar in Luanda. Both nations have bagged one point apiece after their 1-1 draw.

19h00 - In the Sup[er Eagles of Nigeria and Taifa Stars of Tanzania game, there are no goals yet at half time. The Black Stars still enjoy a 1-0 advantage and it's now in the 70th minute.

18h45 - Angola are locked at 1-1 against Madagascar at home in Luanda. Gelson is the scorer in the 54th minute. It's now in the injury time. Ghana are back for the second stanza.

18h30 - Cameroon have beaten Gambia in their final Afcon qualifier. Bejamin Moukandjo and Karl Toko Ekambi scored the goals for Cameroon.

18h25 - GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!! Angola have equalised against Madagascar thanks to a goal from Gelson, 1-1.

18h20 - Ghana lead 1-0 at half time against Rwanda in their Group H qualifying match.

18h15 - There are currently four Afcon qualifying games underway. Cameroon lead 2-0 against Gambia with five minutes left in that game. Madagascar lead 1-0 against Angola 1-0. Ghana lead 1-0 against Rwanda. Nigeria and Tanzania are still locked at 0-0.

18h00 - GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!! Ghana have taken the lead against Rwanda thanks to a goal from Samuel Tetteh, 1-0.

17h50 - Madagascar lead 1-0 at the break in their Afcon qualifier against Angola.

17h40 - GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!! Cameroon have doubled their lead against Gambia thanks to a goal from Karl Toko Ekambi, 2-0.

17h35 - GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!! Madagascar have taken the lead against Angola thanks to a goal from Bapasy, 1-0.

17h30 - The Group H match between Ghana and Rwanda is underway.

17h25 - Cameroon lead 1-0 at the break in their Group M match against Gambia.

17h20 - GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLL!!! Cameroon have taken the lead against Gambia thanks to a penalty goal from Bejamin Moukandjo, 1-0

17h05 - Ethiopia have beaten Seychelles 2-1 in their final Afcon qualifier in Group J thanks to goals from Getaneh Kebede and Saladin Said.

17h00 - The Group M match between Angola and Madagascar is underway.

16h45 - There are two Afcon qualifiers underway at present. Ethiopia are beating Seychelles 2-1 while Cameroon and Gambia are still locked at 0-0.

16h35 - GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!! Ethiopia have taken the lead in their match against Seychelles thanks to a goal from Saladin Said. Ethiopia lead 2-1.

16h30 - The Group M match between Cameroon and Gambia is underway.

16h25 - It is still 1-1 between Ethiopia and Seychelles.

16h10 - The starting XI's for Nigeria v Tanzania, which kicks-off at 18h00 have been released:

Nigeria: Carl Ikeme – Musa Mohammed, Elderson Echiejile, William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun – Ogenyi Onazi, Mikel Obi (Skipper), Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Moses – Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa.

Tanzania: Manula – Kapombe, Hussein, Andrew, Mwantika, Mao, Mkude, Kichuya, Msuva, Bocco, Samatta.

16h05 - The second half between Ethiopia and Seychelles is underway.

15h55 - It is half time in the Group J match between Ethiopia and Seychelles with the game deadlocked at 1-1.

15h45 - GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!! Ethiopia have fought back and managed to equalise thanks to a goal from Getaneh Kebede. The Group J match is currently locked at 1-1.

15h30 - GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!! Despite Ethiopia controlling the game at home thus far, Seychelles have taken the lead against the run of play. It is 1-0 to the away team courtesy of a goal by Jemal Tassew.

15h15 - It is still 0-0 between Ethiopia and Seychelles.

Our next Afcon qualifier is only set to get underway at 16h30 when Cameroon host Gambia in Group M. Cameroon have already guaranteed qualification for next years continental showpiece and will only be playing for pride. Gambia are at the bottom of Group M and cannot move from that spot.

15h00 - The Group J match between Ethiopia and Seychelles is underway.

14h50 - There was only one Afcon qualifier on Friday night with South African playing to a 1-1 draw against Mauritania.

Hlompho Kekana and Dialo Guideye were on target for their respective teams in a match that had little consequence in Group M.

Bafana Bafana end what was ultimately an unsuccessful campaign in third place in Group M with Cameroon advancing to the showpiece as group winners while Mauritania finished in second place.

Today there will be nine Afcon qualifiers starting with Ethiopia hosting Seychelles in Group J, with kick-off set for 15h00.

Algeria currently top Group J and have assured themselves qualification to Afcon 2017 in Gabon. Ethiopia, though, occupy second spot on eight points and will be aiming for a win to possibly qualify for next year's continental showpiece as one of the best runner-ups.
