Mbesuma has now scored in South Africa's top-flight for Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows, Golden Arrows, Orlando Pirates, Mpumalanga Black Aces and the Lions of the North.
The now 32-year-old has flourished in the PSL with Mbesuma having ended the 2015-16 season as the league's top scorer. He also claimed the golden boot in a memorable 2004-05 campaign with the Amakhosi, which subsequently earned him a move to Portsmouth.
