English Premier League (EPL) side Burnley have been heavily linked with former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Stephane Sessegnon.
The 32-year-old is a free-agent after parting ways with West Brom at the end of last season after the club decided against keeping him for the 2016/17 campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, Burnely are working on a deal to take the Benin international until the end of the new season.
Burnley head coach Sean Dyche is said to be keen to snap up Sessegnon who made his debut for Benin against Cameroon twelve years ago.
The former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) attacker had joined West Brom from fellow English side Sunderland three years ago.
He went on to make 79 EPL appearances for the Baggies - netting eight goals in the process between 2013 and 2016.
Sessegnon won the French Ligue 1's December UNFP Player of the Month in 2008.
