Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri reportedly wants to offer Malian midfielder Mohamed Sissoko the chance to train with the Premier League champions.

Sissoko is currently in England as a free agent, having been released by Chinese side Shanghai Shenua earlier this year.

The former Liverpool player is keen on returning to the Premier League and has been on trial with West Bromwich Albion, though coach Tony Pulis has said he will not be signing the Malian.

He has also been linked with Hull City and Sunderland, and has reportedly had offers from Germany and France.

However, Calciomercato.com reports that Ranieri is now looking at possibly securing the 31-year-old’s services.

The Italian manager worked with Sissoko at both Valencia and Juventus, and is keen to have the player train with the Foxes.
