Former U20 star Uche Agbo has said he is delighted to join the Super Eagles training camp in Abuja ahead of Sunday’s World Cup qualifier in Zambia.
The Granada CF defensive midfielder-turned-defender speaks specially on his first-ever Eagles call-up and his reunion with Flying Eagles mates Shehu Abdullahi, Moses Simeon, Wilfred Ndidi and Kingsley Madu.

Yes, I played with all of them at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey. We are now back together to represent our country at a higher level. It is very good for all of us.
QUESTION: Unfortunately, you will not be reuniting with your friend and former roommate at Granada Isaac Success as he is has opted out of this match due to injury.
I am disappointed he will miss this match. I spoke to him before I came down and we had even agreed we will stay in the same room in camp.
I am disappointed he won’t be around.
